Low centerpiece ideas with photos????

Does anyone have any really pretty/dramatic low centerpiece ideas? I love the effect of the high centerpieces but the price doesnt love me. I was hoping for something just as nice and eye catching on the tables....any suggestions?

this is my centerpiece...i made them my self. we wanted all candles. of course they will be on a normal table and on a mirror with a few votive's at the bottom to illuminate the crystals around them, simple, inexpensive and has an awesome effect when the room is a glow!

(we tried one out at our RH on a table all set up...amazing!)

I couldnt afford high ones either which was fine with me since I didnt want to spend too much on flowers. They werent very dramatic but the room in JT had low chandeliers so it worked out well.

that was from my cousins wedding, her colors were the colors in a peacock feather. Gorgeous!!!

please dont mind the messy table.. the florist send a CP to my house the morning of the wedding! and its the only really good pic i got of them

but anyway.. they were aHUGE hit...the guests LOVED that they were only one flower... i must have heard it a billion times... and just the shades were different.. i would suggest doing something like that... they werent too high either you could see right over them. i bought the vase;s my self (they were plastic but they looked ceramic )
