Sending out Save the Dates?
when do you think is a good time to send save the dates? I was going to send mine out now but I was told by an invitation vendor to wait till at least 9 months b4 the wedding to start sending them out. What do you girls think?

Re: Sending out Save the Dates?
I sent mine out just after the year mark...personally, I don't think it matters. If you want to send them out now, you should.

Re: Sending out Save the Dates?
I sent mine out 13 months in advance- More than half of my guest are from oot and FMIL was upset b/c our wedding is on a Sunday evening so she wanted to make sure people had enough time to plan...I was told that there really is no rule about when or if you send out save the dates.

Re: Sending out Save the Dates?
My goal was the year mark then it became the 10 month mark. Now it's 8 months before and still haven't done it. I need to get my a$$ in gear. I am hoping 6 months before is fine.

Re: Sending out Save the Dates?
I got engaged last December and we had an e-party this past June. I mailed out my STD's with the thank you cards from the e-party. By the time I finished writing them it was a couple of days right before the one year mark.Welcome New Vendors
