Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

Any recommended hotels near Jericho Terrace? I've read about Garden City, but looked at some pics on their website, and the decor looks kind of old fashioned to me. Maybe it's just the pictures.

Any others?

Thanks!

Re: Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

My girlfriend had her wedding at JT and she stayed at the Garden City Hotel. It was pretty pricey though! HTH

La Quinta. I've heard good things about it too!

Re: Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

The bridal suite at LaQuinta is great, I stayed there w/ DH the night of the wedding. Our guests ended up staying at the Hampton Inn and LOVED IT! My bms and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and it was OK...nothing special. All these about 10 minutes from JT and are nearby one another so you can check them all out.

Re: Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

i heard garden city hotel was turning into condos - not sure how true that is though....we stayed there for my FSIL's wedding 4 years ago - it was okay i guess - i didnt like the decor at all - everything was old and not my style - and it was expensive! we are using laquinta - its half the price and more modern - its not a fancy place though just a regular hotel

Oh good! I thought the decor was old-fashioned too from the online pictures. Glad to hear La Quinta is more modern, and cheaper. Is Garden City a fancy hotel?

Isn't there also a Mariott somewhere I hear? I would think the large chain hotels might be 'nicer'?

Re: Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

I looked into and called a few places and the best deal that I got was at the Sheraton in Plainview. It came out to 140 a night for our guests for a Saturday night and 215 for the bridal suite. My parents had stayed there before and said that it was beautiful. The only thing is, it is 15 minutes away from JT but we are going to get the shuttle for our guests to get back and forth. It was an extra 500 dollars but we think it is going to be worth it.

Re: Hotels near Jericho Terrace?

LaQuinta Inn & Suites. They were accomodating and we moved the party to the bar area in the lobby afterwards.
