Simple, elegant up dos?

I got a hair trial on Saturday and while I think it looked nice, it's just not me. I am not a really fussy person - yes, I wear makeup and try to look my best all the time, but I don't use hairspray, I don't spend a ton of time on my hair ever really and just don't like to look too 'done up' - I am a more natural kind of person. The updo I got was half up, with the hair in the back being curled and sprayed. It looked like 'too much' for me, if that makes sense.

So, I think I want a more natural look, and I think I need to wear it all up. Can anyone post pics of simple looks that don't require a lot of hairspray (it makes my blonde hair look dark) but also will look good with a simple tiara and a veil in the back (preferably underneath the updo)? I saw a lot of low buns on google and theknot.com, but all of them seemed to look great with flowers in the hair and no veil, no headpiece. I am definitely wearing my tiara (it's a simple one) and a veil.

Thanks!!!!

That is what I was thinking. The curls are kinda high-maintenance for me - I never wear them, my hair doesn't curl well, and it looks too fussy on me I think. I found the first one below in Snick n Nick's album and loooooove it. I like the Katie Holmes one too, very similar!

I added two more, one is from the same album and another was from theknot I think ... not sure which i like best!

Re: Simple, elegant up dos?

I have a buttload of updo pics in my album Jenn - I can't copy and paste and insert - it would take too long!
