Has me stuck inside. I feel like the guy from the shining. I baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies to keep busy. What are you girls doing in the hurricane?

I have to clean up and stuff. I start my new job on Monday so I still need to iron clothes and finish unpacking from the hm. Good thing I've been home for over a week now! I'm also going to make some soup with leftover chicken.

Thank you! I have a culinary degree but I'm not a chef at a restaurant. I'll actually be working for NYC SchoolFood as one of the managers. I'm really excited to start. On the side, I teach cooking classes/do parties at people's houses. I haven't done anything lately because of the wedding but it's a really nice amount of cash for something that doesn't even feel like work to me. Thanks for asking!

This morning I drove out to FH's house so we can square things away with our DJ...afterwards We just hung around his house and just relaxed..but I am back home now..I may see him later!!! But I got plenty to keep my busy with my wedding being in 6 days!

Well it's got me cooking, cleaning and baking all day which is fine i need to keep busy. DH will get home at a normal time tonight though which is GREAT!

I made chicken for chicken parm for tomorrow (friends are installing windows in our house tomorrow, so that's their lunch) and laundry. I want to eat, but I don't know what the heck I want. I also was thinking of cutting tule circles, but I don't know what to cut it with. I wish I had a circular cutter.

I was out all day, and of course had to leave my car at the worst possible time - around 5:00 when it was coming down HARD. I just ate some pizza and plan on cleaning up my bedroom (putting away tons of laundry that's been sitting in buckets for weeks) and making my menus.

I really should be finishing wrapping my favors....but I have such a bad sinus infection that all I want to do is sleep!! My daughter, whose name is Hannah, (lol) and I have been watching the storm...she's so funny, she's been running around the house all day saying I'm COMING!!!, meaning Hurrican Hannah is coming!! LOL She cracks me up!!

I know! I check the weather report every 10 minutes. It changed to mostly cloudy but as long as it's no rain I'm ok with that! Tonight was HORRIBLE

That's adorable. I love kids, they say the funniest things and they don't have to try too hard.
