Need a car
So as you probably all are aware of..I totaled my car 3 days before my wedding...and currently have been looking for another car..any suggestions on good cars? and where to look? or better yet ...does anyone know anyone who works with cars that could help a girl out?!? tia

my fh works at a shop. fm me if you need a good place to bring it! they work with insurance and will handle if it's not through insurance too. i'd offer him up for a side job but he has noooo time! he would most likely do the work at the shop however.

I was actually looking at the scions today!! I love the tc..just trying to find a really good price..they had one for 17k but it was almost 3 years old

Oops! When you asked for someone who works with cars, I didn't think of people who sell them  I only think of people who work ON them, which is like half the people FH hangs out with. My BIL works at a dealership in roslyn ... cadillac / landrover??? in case that interests you.

nah thats ok! lol..thanks anyway..a caddy would be awesome...but i'm not sure I could swing that!  especially with a house! thanks!

Just a tip if your are going to buy brand new... if you can wait until the end of the month that is when you will probably get the best deal because they need to meet their monthly quota in sales (that's what we JUST learned... we just bought a Nissan Xterra). Also, if you are looking to buy an SUV, they're practically giving them away because no one really wants to buy them anymore.

Check out 5 towns toyota the certified used ones. I got my camry there and it has 20,000 miles on it, was three years old and was only $10,000. i love my car. At the time I was working and living in Queens with street parking. I was so happy not to have gotten a new car.
