Christmas themed favor ideas

I've been searching for a favor that's chrstmas themed and isn't going to cost me a fortune. I also don't want to spend my money on something that people are going to throw out. My first idea was a personalized ornament but everything that I find is so expensive. Does anyone have any ideas??

check out oriental trading !!!!!! they sell in bulk......lots of the ornaments come out to like $2.00 each

Nutcrackers, maybe with a ribbon attached with your names?

A CD with your favorite xmas songs.

A xmas scented candle. Like the ones that smell like holly!

go to the dollar bins at Michaels ...they rolled out christmas stuff last week!!

i was originally going to do a small snowglobe ornament. Wasn't too expensive at all. I think it came out to less than a dollar each. VERY nice!! But, honestly, I've seen this done a lot. Me & FH both like to do things a little nontraditional, so what we decided on is mini bonsai christmas trees. They're small, like an inch or 2. Very cute & festive. Could be expensive depending on where you get it done, but my dad owns a nursery so it's basically no cost. Just an idea!

By the way - if you DO decide to do an ornament, my only suggestion is that you do not have it personalized. What's better is if you have your names & date put on the ribbon, but not the ornament itself. I just remember getting a lot of those in my past and it was always weird having somebody non-family related on our Christmas tree. lol. Needless to say, my parents never liked hanging those up too often (no matter how pretty). lol. JMO.

I actually just ordered my personalized ornaments they are $2.25 each, I was over when I said they were about five dollars.

We decided to do a donation to St Jude Foundation. You can order ornaments and 100% of proceeds goes to the foundation. You can find the ornaments in the website under gift shop.

I am having my eparty in December and since I want to throw in my summer theme...I am making X-mas ornaments.

I am making starfish 'gingerbread' starfish ornaments. I got a starfish cookie cutter. I am using a recipie that is just apple sauce and cinnamon to make a paste that will appear like cookie dough.

Once I make a few I will post pics!
