what did you do for your 1 year anniversary?

we were thinking about spending the night in the city and maybe doing a nice dinner and a show since we cant really take any time off work. (we are also saving for a house and don't want to spend to much $$). but we want to do something special. anyone have any ideas?

Just got back for our anniversary last wknd from th city. It was wonderful. Just FYI - It is HIGH season right now. The prices went up right after Labor day wknd.

We had no time for a show , but we did alot of walking around by central park, and shopping.

I have some suggestions for dinner if your interested - one I even posted on the NW board.

We just got back Monday from a 3 day Bahamas cruise. We really had fun and had a good relaxing weekend.

The weekend in the city sounds nice or you can even go upstate for the weekend since the leaves are starting to change up there. That sounds romantic. I don't know places up there but it could be fun. Have fun with whatever you decide.

no way!! we're date twins AND we did the same thing for our anniversary!!! we went on a Royal Carribean cruise to the Bahamas, out of Cape Canaveral from 9/12 to 9/15- what ship were you on?

Monday night we went to an awesome restaurant in Orlando- Roy's- I think they have one in the city too.

That is too funny. We went on Carnival 9/11 to 9/14. I was thinking of doing Royal but DH wanted to try Carnival. We probably crossed paths at one time. Hope you had a ball. I know we did. Happy Anniversary again!!

this is what we did for exactly the same reason! Dh and I went to Casa Mono (one of Mario Batali's restaurants) and to a B'way show. the restaurant was a little expensive, but i got the tickets on Stub Hub very cheap!

Poor DH was sick. We staued home and ate our cake! Hopefully the 2nd anniversaryw ill be better!!! lol

I think we were next to Carnival when we docked in Nassau on Sat. 9/13.....did your ship have a bunch of flowers painted on it? I remember seeing that on the boat next to us. did you like Carnival? I haven't been on their ships yet, but its still DH's favorite cruiseline ever from when he went to Mexico w/ them!

No ours was the Sensation but we had our sea day on the 13th. We were at Nassau on the 12th. We just missed each other. Carnival was good as for it was our first cruise so it was not bad at all. Alot to do for everyone and gorgeous weather. I would take Carnival again we might next year but go out on a 4 day out of Miami.

We are going to the Berkshires in Massachusetts for 5 days

We are going to Ireland. We got married in Dec. So for our anniversaries, we decided to always plan a trip somewhere

We went to Shawnee, PA for 2 nights. It was great. Very relaxing. We would've like to have done something more, but we are on a tight budget.
