Review: Glen Island Harbour Club - now w/pics

Hey Ladies,

Went to a wedding at Glen Island Harbour Club last night - sat at a table with Jennifer (JJC) - had a fantabulous time! The bride was absolutely stunning - I will post pics later. For their first dance they danced to My Destiny and then mid song broke out into a routine dance to a fast song - I forget what song cause I was laughing the whole time, Jenn - do you remember? It was awesome. FH was like we totally have to do that.!!!!!!! I had my sisters camera and didn't know how to use the video on it, I was so mad because they were awesome and I wanted to show you guys!!

The service was great - the food was delicious...the Viennese hour was crazy - there were so many desserts - we were stuffed so we took them home with us. As we were waiting for our car from the valet, they had a guy serving pretzels - I don't know if this is an option the Harbour Club offers or if they had them come in from somewhere, but I definitely think this is something you should get if you're getting married there and it's something they offer...MAGGIE! They were the greatest pretzels and a nice little snack to eat on the car ride home I think that's all for now...I'll post pics later. Oh, I don't know who her florist was - but the centerpieces were amazing, wait until you see them.

It definitely was great! I posted some pics in my album...her centerpieces were AMAZING! We had a great time too! Food was fantastic... She had such a great day. Weather was perfect.


*****dont remember the name of the song the danced too...I am still in shock...LOL but they definitely rocked the reception!

THEY DEFINITELY ROCKED IT!!!!!!! Ha. I just looked at your pics....my FH and my sisters FH are in the pic with the centerpiece, ha. He's totally not paying attention though.

June thanks so much for posting the review. So glad you liked everything, I'm getting more and more excited. And to answer your question about the pretzels, that is something Glen Island throws in for all their weddings, they give different things out depending on the time of the year. For my wedding, since its the summer, they will either give out sorbet or some other kind of summery thing.
