FH & I have to start looking for apartments
We have to start looking for apartments before the Wedding, does anyone have any ideas where we can start. We really need something that we can afford because of the wedding coming up.

i found craigslist as a really good source for rentals. Rent.com was ok.

We lived in Spruce Pond in Holbrook. GREAT location, close to Sunrise & LIE. Near the mall and tons of shopping. Beautiful apartments with washer/dryer/dishwasher. PLENY of closet space. It was $1509 a month and that included heat adn hot water, we paid for electric (about $60/month) and cable.
There are tennis courts, a pool, a FREE 24 hour gym, etc.

I liked Craig's List because you can find for rent by owner...as opposed to by broker which charges a fee equivalent to 1 months rent...

I have a 1 bedroom apartment. It is a basement but it is only 6 months old. It is in mint condition. FM me if you are interested. Oh and I am located in North Babylon, between Sunrise Hwy and Southern State.

DH & I have a 2 family house in long beach and are looking to rent the 1st floor 3 bedrooms / 1 ½ bath / kitchen / dining room / washer/dryer / driveway
$2200/month utilities are separate
