First dance song? (Kinda long)

For as long as we've been together, fh and I have loved this song called 'My Heart is Yours.' It's the only song we can both agree on and it's kinda been our thing for years now. But it drives me nuts that we don't know the artist who sings it. I've tried looking it up online but I can't find answers. We can't agree on music usually and that's why we know it's gonna be tough for us to find our first dance song. We really do want it to be 'My Heart is Yours' but we're not so sure because our band we hire would have to learn it and like I said, we don't know who the singer is. The song is also very very slow but the lyrics sound beautiful to me. I know we have a lot of time to decide on our song but it's been driving me nuts!!!

The lyrics might not all be correct because it's just from people that have copied them from listening to it lol. What do you think??

Btw - All music download sites say the song is by DMB, Matchbox 20, Garth Brooks, Phish, etc. The list goes on lol. Weird right?

I do recognize the lyrics, but I can't think of who sings it. Do you know what genre it might be - that could help narrow it down

I don't know what genre it would be but all I know is its a slow slow ballad and it sounds like something DMB or Matchbox 20 would have recorded except for the fact that the voice doesn't sound like either of them.

I checked DMB's website and online search engines for the song but I can't find it under any of his albums. I wonder if it's a hidden track.
