Anyone good at writing Thank-Yous?
I stink at writing these things.I need to say thank you to some of my coworkers who put together a really nice surprise for my birthday.
I don't want to sound too mushy becasue they are coworkers, but I don't want to make it so generic because I was really touched by what they did.
Can anyone help??
Thanks

Maybe something along the lines of:Dear _______,
I can't thank you enough for remembering my birthday and for the wonderful surprise you gave me. I hope you know that I was truly touched by your thoughtfulness. It's a birthday I'll certainly remember!
Thank you, again!
Best,

Thanks...that's good. Do you think I have to rearrange it for the 3 different people that put it together or the same message is good?
Thansk for your help!!!

Re: Anyone good at writing Thank-Yous?
I think if you're sending the message by e-mail, you can do the same message to all three in a joint e-mail. If you're doing handwritten thank yous, I'd try to customize each one:Maybe:
Dear ______,
Thank you for the fantastic birthday surprise! I never suspected a thing. I am truly touched by your thoughtfulness and the hard work that went into pulling it off!
Thank you!
-and-
Dear ____,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your thoughtfulness in remembering my birthday, not to mention all that you did to surprise me! I am touched by all that you did to make my special day memorable.
Thank you, again!
