Hand stamps for STDs..

SO I went to the post office just now to mail out my Save the Dates... and the guy at my post office REFUSED to hand stamp it because he said it's not just going to go through the machine anyway and its a waste of time.. DId anyone ever hear of this?

I don't think any post office will hand stamp. When we sent out our eparty invites I bought the stamps went to the table they had and stamped them all there. We bought our stamps for our STD's and we are going to so them at home.

I think its actually called Hand Cancelling stamps.. ? The guy said I wasn't allowed to do it

I was allowed to Hand Cancel at my local post office. The guy gave me the stamp and allowed me to do it myself off to the side. When I took the second batch in it was less busy and he did it himself.

no! they are supposed to hand stamp it for you if you ask for it. they dont like to do it because they have to do it manually. You should go to the bigger post offices. My sis went to the huge on on grand central and they did it for her there with no complaints

I get my hand canelled all the time. They guy was lying!!

They are suppose to hand stamp for you if you ask them. I would send one to myself to check if they really hand stamped them for you.

that is just silly, i had my sister's shower invites hand cancelled no problem. he's a crazy.
