Re: Masquerade Ball Wedding
was reading online that you could 'mirror the time of Marie Antoinette when pastels, white hair and brocades were the hot ticket, do a Venetian style affair...carnivale? Transylvania...dark and mysterious. French Quarter New Orleans...resplendent with feathers, lace and burlesque-ishness. Colors: Deep reds, deep purples, black and some dark oranges hinted here and there.'check out this wedding

Re: Masquerade Ball Wedding
my friend had a Masquerade Ball Wedding and she handed a mask to every guest that attended the wedding. She had special male and female masks made for her guests ... so elegant and so nice

Re: Masquerade Ball Wedding
I would definitely hit vintage/thrift shops for theatrical pieces and outfits for your theme. Ebay is also a great source for inexpensive touches and hard to find items. Another cute touch for the music is the song 'Masquerade' from Phantom of the Opera. I've seen very nice masks that would go perfect with your wedding theme from Party City, Michael's, costumes (halloween) stores as well as this site: http://www.houseofmasquerades.com/. I love the Masquerade theme, it's very creative and sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you have a wonderful time planning your wedding and good luck with everything!
