My Mystery Machine! Update

Some of you may recall, that dh & i had our minivan stolen a week before the wedding (we had to rent a car that week in order to do all the running around) and since then just haven't been able to buy another car (who puts full coverage on a 12 yr old van, not us so it was a complete loss)...

well, the police contacted me, they found our van, it's been over 2 months, they didn't know the condition but i'll see tonight, i hope it was just parked somewhere but not in pieces, lol!

fingers crossed, we may have wheels again this evening!!

*Update*
My father and I picked up my van on Saturday. stup id hoodlums, basically used it to smoke and hang out and eat. Also, out of malice, they shredded a tire.
Dh is awesome, while I worked yesterday, he cleaned out all the trash (tons of fast food wrappers, chips, cigar tabacco), then shampooed the carpet (only to find a lot of burns in it, guess they couldn't ash out the window) and he armoralled, and sadly they also ashed on the dash and left burn marks there

So we are getting new tires and a new battery and will be back on the road right after the holiday!

i still can't believe that 2 1/2 months later my mystery machine came back to us

wow that is amazing...That is a miracle that the worst damage is the cigarette burns, and a battery and a new tire ..I mean, the rest are mostly cosmetic..but the battery and tire....that is not horrible, it's not great lol but its better than having no car at all!

yes! definitely! i was scared we were going to have to take it to the junk yard, since definitely not worth investing a lot of $ into an old van, but tires and a battery, Oo yeah! a fine investment so that we can shop at costco once again!

Sounds like the same idiots who stole FHs car a while ago (although they were caught that night). They left wendys wrappers, fries, ranch dressing, CD's, sneakers, clothes and earrings all over the car.
So annoying but at least you got it back in drivable condition
