Photo Album For Proofs

Since I have 600 printed proofs, I wanted to organize them into a photo album. Has anyone done this and where did you buy an album that large?

my photographer gave me my proofs in 3 separate albums, she just put a pencil number on the inside cover 1 2 or 3 to keep some order

Wow, that's awesome! Duet just prints them and gives them to you in a box, but I want to organize them somehow. Thanks anyway!

That's how mine came also. I bought some nice wedding photo albums in Kohls to put the pics in. The biggest albums I could find only hold 200 pics each.

I was wondering the same thing and I have about 800 pictures from our Honeymoon that I'd also like to put in a book. I saw some in the store that hold at most 250, still not enough, but I like them b/c they had 4 pictures to a page, two landscape and two portrait. I know there are some you can add pages to that are like binders too. If you find anything better, I'd love to know where.

I found this one and a few others from this company online. They are also sold on Amazon. They hold 500 so you'd have to buy two probably but its better than nothing! Its annoying that the picutures dont show the inside of the album though. Album

I just did this. I bought photo albums at Crate&Barrel over the summer that hold 216 pictures but I have 6 pictures per page.
I also bought an album for my Honeymoon pics that hold over 400 pictures at BBB.
Putting them in an album has helped me narrow down the picture selection process. DH and I place post its with detailed notes on the ones we like, love, or want to edit into an album.

I just ordered leather books from amazon....I didn't want to spend $100- but also dont want anything to fall apart so I went for the leather.

Bed Bath & Beyond Classic Photo Album

I got a classic photo album from Bed Bath & Beyond. It holds about 432 photos and it was cheap $40.
I also rec'd my proofs in a box so i didn't want everyones greasy fingerprints on the photos

You can also check out B&H, the huge photo supply store on 34th St between 9th & 10th Aves. (I'm hoping I got the cross streets correct!)

I used to buy B&W film and developing supplies from there when I was photo editor and had my own darkroom in college. They have all kinds of acid-free acrylic album pages for all sizes of photos. The ones I'm thinking of fit inside 3-ring binder albums. You can customize your album to the size of your proofs.
