home from the hospital

hey ladies...
i wanna say thanks to Carol again for checking on me that was super sweet of you!!!!!!
My doctor admitted me into the hospital sunday to have the endoscopy done and have some other things looked at. It was really a terrible hospital stay. They weren't very nice and pretty much just wanted to keep me sedated so i wouldnt complain...(but i refused). They did do the scope monday after i complained enough cause they were gonna wait til today which i found to be a waste of time...and finally think they know what the issue is. but after being there 2 days i still never saw a pulmonologist as planned...and no one ever personally explained to me what was wrong...they just kind of gave me a rough idea. I even wound up taking my own IV out. It's been very frustrating and i have the worst headache..but i wanted to give everyone the update!!!!!!! I'm hoping that i can get into the GI's office soon and with the medicine they are giving me be better soon and hopefully without having to do any other procedures or stay in the hospital any time soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you girls. It's frustrating cause i don't feel any better than i did before so i feel like it was a waste for him to admit me almost.. but hopefully they will figure it out soon or rather at leat figure out the right treatment!!!

Krystal, I hope you get an answer soon and start feeling better.

Not to your extent, but I know how you feel to not feel well for a long period of time and not know what it is. I have bad stomach problems too but had it under control for a long time but it's back now b/c of stress and everyday I just feel like crap, on top of the sinus/allergy issues.

Krystal -- I am glad you are home and hope you find answers soon.

I can sympathize with you and Andrea -- I also have some chronic issues that are hard to diagnose and hard to treat. They are kinda under control now, but one or both may be rearing their ugly heads again. It stinks.

thnx girls. I feel almost worse than when i got in there. They cleaned the room with some chemicals yeseterday while i was there that triggered i migraine. I buzzed for a nurse and no one answered. that was 12 noon. I buzzed again at 12:30 (after i got up and explained it to the nurse at the nurses station...and she told me to find a chair and sit in the hall)... someone finally answered and i told them my migraine was getting unbearable. She said ok and never came in. finally fell asleep and i still hadnt seen anyone until 6 something when i was discharged. Now i've been trying to get rid of my migraine since then. I slept for the most part today.
i still cant swallow either and the scope made it worse cause it hurts my throat so i wont be eating tom. it's making me very sad. I was supposed to make dinner since it's our first married thanksgiving but mom is taking over. I'm just so tired of it.
i appreciate everyone's hugs and prayers though!! you girls are the best
