I hate Washington Mutual/Chase

So I went in last week to change my account to my married name & without my permission, the guy added a credit card to my account & charged me $25 for deluxe checks!

I am so pisssed! Who opens a credit card and doesnt mention it! what a jerk! I so want to call & tell them what he did, but I wont since its christmas & he was telling me about his wife & three kids while we were sitting there!

That's terrible...how could he do that? Don't feel too bad about the checks. TD Bank did the same thing to me when I orederd new ones with my new name.

I definately will- I think I am moving to commerce- so I will probably go there and get a check and close the account- I want to at least be able to say something!

Commerce, which is now TD bank, su cks as well, especially in customer service.

I prefer Sovereign, been a customer with them since 1992.
Capital One Bank is not so bad either, they were pretty helpful when DH and I took over control of his parents' bank accounts when my MIL got sick.

At least they let you change your name. They keep telling my that Dh needs to come with me to resign the signature card. ***...he's not changing his name, so why does he need to come in. DH and I are never home together during banking hours, so I can't change my name there apparently...ugh. I miss the old WAMU.

They did that SH!$ to me, I had to go into the bank and return the checks to get my creitd.t I havent changed them becuase thats where my student loans go into, but the minute I am done with law school, I will be all over TD (Commerce)!!
