X-post: Sam the Chocolate Lab Update!

So, DH and I visited my parents today and got to spend some time with Sam and our little girl Charlie (black lab mix). Sam and Charlie did not get along for a while (Charlie was not happy with having to share her house with another dog). I am happy to report that my parents and sister worked hard to integrate Sammy into the house and now he and Charlie are great friends!

Sam is healthy and happy (despite Charlie being a bratty little sister at times).

Background for those unaware: My parents adopted Sam from Kimbalina's uncle nearly two months ago.

Here are some pictures from today. First one is of DH and our girl Charlie.

Oh, so are we! I was almost in tears (of joy) when I saw them playing together. They follow each other everywhere - it's so cute!

When I saw this post on the 08 board,., i cried. My uncle was going through such a rough time with his now ex-wife,, and having to find a new home with a full grown lab, just wasnt in the cards.

I am so appreciative of their family for taking Sam home!! It is wonderful and heart warming to hear they are getting along so well.
