How much did you spend on...

DIY invites (including postage)?

I am wondering if it's worth it to do it myself or have someone else do it. If I can do it for under 400, then I'll give it a try. And if anyone has any tips on how to make this cost effective, I'd love to hear them! TIA!!!!

I really don't remember the exact amount but I think it was over $400. IMO, the time and effort just wasn't worth it but I know you'll find other girls on here who feel differently.

i ended up spending about $600 or so, i wish i had left myself more time to make them so it could have been less stressful, so start early!

I ordered really nice ones from costco.com for under $400 -- don't remember exactly how much, but I highly recommend their website. You can make your own proofs so the lay out is exactly how you want it, and you can order sample invitations to see the quality. They have all different famous brands, and wide price ranges from really cheap to really posh.

I got ours from Exclusivelyweddings.com and they were printed, but I did my address labels and the assembly of each envelope myself. I paid under $300.00 by doing it that way. HTH
