china cabinet.. displaying china?

How did you display your fine china in your china cabinet? I'm drawing a blank.. the only thing I can think of is just stacking the dishes and separating them by size lol which isn't really creative and doesn't really display them well lol.... I don't have those grooves in the back of the shelves of the china cabinet where I can stand the dish up straight so I'm limited there...

any ideas? I'd love to hear how you ladies displayed that lovely china of yours.... pics would be great!

You can try using plate easels for just a few of the plates, like the stores do for their displays, put a cup and saucer in front of each plate. Store the rest of the china in the closed part of the cabinet.
I store mine in canvas plate and cup keepers to keep them from chipping.

I got a wood thing from ikea and I was able to have them standing up on them one behind the other largest to smallest. I only have 1 on display and the others are in china protectors.

I got cheap plastic stands from Crate and Barrel. You can find them a lot of places.

I purchased mine at BBB, but they were in the frame and album department so I am thinking they weren't meant for plates, but they work just as well.

We got them at the Bohemia store. They were in the section with the picture frames
