St Lucia HMers- Ladera?

Hi Ladies!
I am about to book my hm and am hoping you can help me.
FH is insistant on an all inclusive, so we decided on Sandals St Lucia. I then found Ladera and convinced him to say in a non all-inclusive for 2 or 3 nights before Sandals.
My question is for those of you who have been to Ladera - what is the food situation? Should we eat there? Is it pricey? Did you venture on to the island at all for dinner or culture?
Any St Lucia or ladera info would be appreciated!!

well I havent been to Sandals St. Lucia but i have been to Sandals Jamaica and they had 4 restaraunts on the resort itself. Also if you wanted to eat outside the resort they had like a tour bus thing that takes you to the town and local places to eat... for example in jamaica the main restaraunt was called Margaritaville.

SOOOo, for St. lucia they would have a certain number of restaurants on the resort too but im pretty sure there would be an option of eating off the resort.
