Re: Hawaii Ques
we're going to the big island because it is secluded and there aren't many tourists there. we're staying at the four seasons - it's supposed to be incredible!

Let me know what you find out. FH and I are going there on our HM just a few days before you! But we haven't started looking into things seriously yet. We want to get through our cruise in 3 days first!

Re: Hawaii Ques
I've been to Oahu, and we are going to Hilo and Oahu on the last leg of our honeymoon. Oahu can be touristy, but there's a ton to do and a lot of must see sites. It's so beautiful! Let me know if you want specific details!

Re: Hawaii Ques
No problem I have been to Hawaii a ton and I LOVE it. I am going back for my honeymoon even though I have been there a lot because I want to share it with fh and he wants to go. So any questions you have let me know. If I can't answer it my parents can.

Were going to the Big Island too. It is beautiful. Its my second favorite island because it feels like traditional Hawaii. Just be forewarned, you will not find many, if any, white sand beaches on the Big Island.

Re: Hawaii Ques
One suggestion on accommodations...Rent a condo versus staying at a hotel. It's a lot less expensive per night, you have a whole apartment to yourself and you can buy breakfast and lunch foods and eat at the condo on the baloney to save some money on food.
FH and I went last September. We stayed at The Valley Isle resort in Maui (just one example of a condo). We had a beautiful apartment with a view of the beach. The beach was literally 100 feet from the door of the building and they had a really nice private pool which FH and I had to ourselves most days. All of that for $150 per night. I was even able to do laundry because they had a washer and dryer in the room (which helped on compacting the luggage).
In Kauai we stayed at the Sheraton and spent about $1000 for 3 nights...worst money I have EVER spent. We totally should have stayed in a condo there too.
