Repost from BHB-LINED INNER ENVELOPES
I know that these look so pretty, but would it be so bad if I do not get them?I finally decided on the most amazingly beautiful invite. I love it so much, It is $200 over my budget for invites, but I have to have them. I could cut the final cost by $140 if I go without the lined inner envelopes.
Thoughts????

I didnt used lined envelopes..i dont really think they are necessary unless you are using an ultra formal and ultra plain invite like a basic Cranes. If you have an invite design that is a little different, the lined envelopes dont always work with them anyway.

Honestly, I never noticed the inner lining before I got married. I never even thought about them when I ordered them.I think if cutting that out will get you the invites you love - go for it. No big deal at all.
PS I actually just got an invite from a friend without the inner envelope at all!!! anything goes....
