Florist - price good??

we just met with Jack and Rose Florist last night. We got a quote of roughly $3k includes 4 bridesmaid bo'k, bride bo'k and flower girl basket, church flowers, elevated table centerpieces, flower arrangment for the card table, flower for hord'orveaur trays, and centerpiece for bride/groom table and petals for cake table.
For those of you who have booked is that a good amount?? Oh - any flower for the bo'k.
please help. Should we look at another florist for comparison???

Re: Florist - price good??

Are they your house vendors? Do you have to use house vendors? I hear that James Cress is very expensive, but I have no first hand experience with florists (yet). A lot of ladies on here have recommended Burtons, or Flower Michele, and I think their prices are fair.

Re: Florist - price good??

I am using Burtons and getting almost the same amount bo-ks, plus the other arrangements, and 12 high centerpices with 3 dozen roses for about $1000 less.

I met with James Cress and found his prices to very high.

Re: Florist - price good??

That sounds really high, we booked with flowers michele, john is really great and very reasonable, something like you said should go for about 2k with him, pedastals should be close in price, flowers by brian and florissma are going to be higher than that but lower than jack and rose, hope this helps, but I would strongly recommend flowers michele in huntingon.

Re: Florist - price good??

I went to Burtons and got pretty much the same except I got 11 high centerpieces. My price was $1435 and it also included 5BM bok's, 2 mothers, 2 fathers, 5 ushers, my bok, fh corsage, etc. The high centerpieces were only $85 a piece and any flowers I want. let me know if you want their number, they are in Melville.

Re: Florist - price good??

One more thing, with yours it should not be more than 1900 at Burtons. If you just add in 4 more centerpieces to my price it only comes out to $1775.
