Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
How long did it take to arrive??I am a little nervous..I'm 8 weeks from the wedding, and completely forgot to go order one.
Any suggestions on speeding it up, or stores that can provide one with a quick turn around would be appreciated!

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
Hi I didn't buy mine online, however I bought it at ZIon Lion they have a new hyde park and huntington store. They have a big selection and really cost the same as onnline.I am getting married on May 25th and the reabbi just sent the info back to the store for the calligrapher to right the names and so forth. They said it would take 4 weeks to get back.
YOu really should order it ASAP, remember PAssover is coming up and they might get backlogged.
Any other questions fm me.
Also we had to get a conservative ketubah with the Lieberman clause.
Good luck

No T....this is a marriage contract. The Cantor that is working with Fr. B that day will sign it.

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
Misty, I ordered my Ketubah (and Yarlmulkes) from Westside Judaica in the city. They had a great selection of Ketubahs and called yesterday to say it was ready, only took two weeks to personalize.
Not sure if you need this, but they will match the internet on prices for yarlmulkes (these were ready in two days).

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
Westside Judaica is located on Broadway between 88th and 89th. They are closed on Saturdays, open on Sundays - but they get very crowded on Sundays.Misty, I don't want to mislead you. We did not customized the wording, just had our names, etc. calligraphied in (is that word?). I don't know how long they take for custom wording. But some far everything we have ordered has come in ahead of time.

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
Misty, we got our non-customized ketubah at Levine's at 5 E. 30th St, in NYC. The ketubah and yarmolkas' came in in a week or two after placing the order...

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
I'm going to have to call anyway...because I need a non-denominational text. We are having an interfaith wedding....So I'll check it out!! Thanks for the tip.

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
Misty, mine was interfaith as well. We ended up ordering the text for Reformed because we like the wording. Chris (who is a practicing Catholic) was happy with the text.Good luck with what ever you do.

Re: Ladies who ordered Ketubah's online
They just called yesterday, I will be picking it up this weekend. I can send it to you then.I was trying to stay away from complete customization since it takes time, and also can be really expensive.
After your great suggestion on working for my cousins, the least I can do is send you the wording of my ketubah!!!
