Place Cards - Favor/Stationary Vendors Please Advise
I want to do these for my place cards but the bud vases that I bought don't have the little things to put the actual place card in. I'm thinking maybe I could tie on the place card with ribbon or something. Any suggestions? And, of course, I have to buy the place cards to attach. Anyone have anything that would work well with this idea?

Hi Jan,I think glue dots might work for you. You should be able to get them in any craft store. I also like the idea of using a nice chiffon ribbon, a gold braid or why not a nice tassle to hold the cards on the vase.
This is a very pretty idea. Hope this helps!
Happy planning!

Hi,These look great! I suggest preparing the place card exactly how you want it to look. Then, pick up some self stick velcro from any craft store and stick it to the back of the place card and the bud vase. It will hold great and is easy to remove.
Good Luck!

Dear Jan:Those favors are really pretty! I agree that the glue dots/velcro give the favor a nice, clean look without anything else tied around.
Another option might be to use a pick to go into the flowers with the placecard coming out a bit higher than the flowers. If your guests are picking each favor up as they enter the room, this option may work because it will be easier to read their placecard on the table.
I have forum mailed you a quote for the custom-printed place card.
If you have any other questions, please let me know. Good luck in all your planning!
