Groom's Cake--need advice!
Hi again,I'm making the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner, and was wondering if I have to put a filling in it? I'm decorating it with a really cool Harley theme for my FH, so it won't be boring to look at, but do you think it would be okay if it didn't have a filling??

I don't think you need filling if you have frosting - what kind of cake is it?

Re: Groom's Cake--need advice!
I'm not making it for a couple of weeks, but I need to sort out all the details so I can stop thinking about it!
I think it's going to be a yellow cake with chocolate frosting (my FH's favorite combination). I think I'm going to make a standard size sheet, since the rehearsal dinner (where we'll serve the cake), is only going to be about 20 of us. Karen M
