Opinions on Villa Lombardi's and other halls?
Hi gals! OK, I admit it, I'm soooo excited. I can't seem to work today because all I can think about is the wedding planning! Anyway. I'm going to see three places tomorrow: the Milleridge Inn, the Riviera, and Villa Lombardi's. I have some hesitation about the first two (Milleridge doesn't have nice grounds, and I think the Riviera will be too small), but Villa Lombardi's sounds like a great choice. My FI tells me the food is amazing and that it's got nice grounds. If I can, I will also set up an appointment at Southward Ho in Bay Shore. (You need to be 'sponsored' by a member-- I'm waiting to make sure a family friend will sponsor us.) Anyone have opinions to share about any of these places?

I was a Villa bride. I cannot say enough about the service, food and ambiance. Everything from the minute I stepped out of the limo until I left was amazing.

Wellcome to the boards. Villa Lomabrti's food is incredable I went to a wedding there a few months ago. I heard they are a little pushy but that is only one opinion form the bride who got married there, but overall she loved it. Good luckLisa

I checked out VL when I was looking for a hall and there happened to be a wedding going on...the place was beautiful, the food looked great and the presentation was spectacular. And if you're planning to get married in their garden, You'd love it! It was an extremely difficult decision for me: it was really a toss up between VL and The Inn at East Winds...but the dates didn't quite work out for VL which made my decision easier. Anyway, good look with picking a hall.

Wonderful! Thanks so much! I can't wait to see them tomorrow... I'm really leaning toward VL. And they said they have Saturdays and Sundays available in May and June, which is amazing. Will report back when I come home. :)

I've been to all three. They are very different from each other, but they are all very nice. Any of those choices would be beautiful. I know someone who got married at Southward Ho. I heard her wedding was amazing. Very classy! I'm going to a wedding there in December too.

Hello and welcome. I am a Villa bride. So far my experience with them has been wonderful. The food is unbelievable. I went to all the showcases they had this year and the service was great. The women I have been dealing with have been great answering my many questions. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to send me FM!Welcome New Vendors
