UPDATE ON BOTTOM OK girls I want to let you know that I am officially nuts if you haven't thought so already - this can turn out long and it really isn't even that serious

Ok so as you all might already know I have had nightmares about plates I have registered for yes everyone plates I am on my fourth ones and these are the ones. Everytime I have had nightmares I have spent hours on BBB searching for plates I like than spending hours in the stores crying throwing tantrums etc.....FH was about to call off the engagement because of this.

Now Fast forward to us getting a co-op and for the past two days I have been having a nightmare about our bathroom I think psychologically I want to redo it there is nothing wrong with it the only thing we don't like is the shower door that we already decided we are redoing. Well I have been having nightmares that my bathroom stuff won't match. I know I know I can return it all and get ones that match (it already has been bought so I can't change it) But it has been eating at me

I was up all night on BBB trying to find the perfect match - I am afraid to tell FH this

who has nightmares about this stuff ME - I don't even have nightmares about the wedding or care enough about the detail!!

You probably didn't even read all this just want you to all know I am sick in the head

awww....we all have that thing that we stress over. Yours just happens to be housewares. Relax... I am sure you will have a beautiful home. What color is the tile in the bathroom Can you link to the set you have off you registry.....maybe an outside opinion will help.

haha i totally understand what you're going through..about a year ago i came home from work and decided that i hated my bedroom, and had to go out immediately and redo it..i was up until like 3 in the morning..

ok give me a minute and i will show you the set off my registry and the pic of the bathroom

the pic of the bathroom might be off though

it is like a grayish bluish and i can't remember if it is all tile on the wall or if i can paint some of the wall lol. if i can paint some of the wall i would feel better

That set can match with any bathroom... if want to jazz it up you can paint where you can and get beautiful rugs/mats

thanks lol - i am hoping i can paint - i just cant remember if it is all tile or walls

i do have lots of decrative towels and a nice rug on my registry

Rita you are too funny! First of all i love your bathroom accessories! Don't stress yourself out soo much.....i mean you said you want to redo it eventually so even if the set doesn't match perfectly yet it will, its a working progress!

Oh and yes i have crazy nightmares like that too....i went to school for interior design and my last job i would get nightmares all the time about door hardware (really stupid).....

No worries! Those bathroom accessories will work anywhere!! And like you said, worse case scenario, you exchange them.

On the nightmare piece of it, you're not alone...just the other night I had a nightmare about my mom's dining room. She decided to redo everything for the wedding, and she chose this awful color for her dining room. I woke up at like 6 in the morning ready to call her and offer to repaint it.

oooo rita take it easy....that bathroom will look great in your new bathroom and worse comes to worse....you buy all this stuff and it dosent look quite right you can still return it

I know I just feel bad returning a truck load of stuff that people bought for me the stress of it is killing me

I had a dream last night about cake boxes and favor boxes. i actually woke up confused about the color of the box and the ribbon. Its insae how once you start planning a wedding it can really take over your life

I am with you!!!!! I say re-do the bathroom!!! I had bought a house a while back (with an ex... long story I don't like to talk about) and ripped out and replaced every single toilet in the place and redid an entire bathroom just because I didn't like the tile. And then even though the kitchen was brand new I made him replace the countertops... I also want to register for like 4 different dish patterns because I can't seem to pick one that I really like... I don't think I really like the formal one I registered for but my mother already went out and bought half of the set!!! UGH!

yeah gina i think this is what my mind is telling me to do lol - rip out the tiles. The bathroom is half re done by the people who live there, new floor new toilet , new vanity. We already decided to go with new doors - just plain glass with none of that ugly design.

I really do think i want to rip out the tile and spackle to just have plain walls and maybe just put molding in the middle. I guess we jsut have to see how much that would be
