I am planning a friend's baby shower and want to prepare a CD to play during the party. My friend is adopting a little girl
So far I have

-Butterfly Kisses
-Theme from Wild Thornberries (OMG! I cry everytime I hear this song)
-Daddy's Little Girl
-If I could by Regina Belle
-Thank Heaven for little girls


I need songs about mommies, babies, parents, dad/daughters etc...Any suggestions?

cant think of any songs right now, just wanted to say thats so thoughtful of you to do something like that for her !!
actually i want to add that, you can put in general kiddie songs like 'isty bitsy spider' and 'im a little teapot' i put those songs in my wedding video during our kiddie pics and they sound awesome !

Michele, this is the sweetest idea! I love the song from the Wild Thornberries, too.

What about the country song that I mentioned in the other thread - 'The Love Song' - I'm not sure if it's too 'boy' but it's about the love of the parents too.

Hmmm...I'm going to have to think about this to come up w/some more ideas for you. LOVE the idea!

I also put the Theme song from American Tale since the baby is in China and they cannot go get her yet.

And C is for Cookie, because that is fun song. I need lots of songs though.
