Happy Friday NWQOTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I know this question has been asked alot but I think about it for some strange reason.....

If you could change your wedding would you? I mean anything about the wedding...

If I knew then what I knew now I think I would change the whole theme of the wedding...I think I would go with a New Year's Eve wedding...I am always looking for something to do and it would be so cool to have our anniversary on that day...also I wouldn't have had to worry about the weather because my ceremony would have been inside and it would have been a night wedding like I would have preferred giving me enough time to get ready and such. Also this year it falls on a Thursday which is prefect since everyone would have off that Friday so people wouldnt need to leave early and I would have maybe gotten discounts. The decorations would have been alot easier and the party would have been great!!!!!

Not a thing about my actual wedding.. not a single thing! Everything was perfect

Looking at my proofs though I think I would have went with a different photog.. but oh well

I would have liked to see my cake! lol
and maybe the florist would have remembered those little lights for our centerpieces!

those are just some things that i had originally wanted that some how got screwed up a little!

but other than that...nothing!

Yes!
I would have really taken more time selecting a dress.
I wish I would have b!tched more about the way my dress came in. It was beautiful but not exactly the way I ordered it.
I wish I knew it was going to have creases in the bodice making me look like I have rolls in almost every pic.
I would have hired a different DOC. So many things got lost...and got out of hand because they were missing.
I would have made sure we made it to cocktail hour.
I would have done a test run filling the acrylic trays I had custom made with water to see if they were actually water tight like I asked.
I didnt.... I just trusted the company and after 10 minutes of being filled with water they leaked all over my tables... on to my linens.
It was a mess! But thank God for the Staff at Bridgeview! They had the linens dry cleaned before even telling me about the problem. I love them!
I would have hired a different video company
I wish we didnt spend the entire evening saying hello and thank you. I think I got to sit down and eat at 12:00am for 5 minutes.
I wish I had trusted myself and kept my cake with the accents to match my colors. I loved my cake but I wanted something a little more funky. I was afraid it would look like crap.

Most of all..... I wish I took the time to stop and actually enjoy my wedding.

I would have taken more time picking out a dress too Barb...I definitely rushed into it! Other than that we had the best day and I really couldn't have been happier!

Like some of you I would have taken more time selecting a dress. And I would have added an extra hour. I feel like it went so fast and I only got to dance for like 10 minutes.

We added an extra hour but.... once the VH opens its a wrap lol! All of our people went into the other room and just sat there. They were supposed to come back into the main ballroom but they didn't. After that they left... and it was kinda a waste.

Ummmmmmmmm I wouldn't have picked a RH that wasn't open yet! I drove myself and everyone around me nuts for a year...

Aside from that, I probably would've waited on the dress too...I got to Nov/Dec and felt like i had to order a dress that SECOND...and I had time, could've found 'the dress'

One thing that keeps bothering me that i cant do anything about.

I left my dad's pic and his memorial candle outside the room the whole night on the placecard table. I kinda feel like sh*t over it because in hindsight I look back and feel as though I left him out of the room.

This is a tough question to answer because I loved our wedding day and look back at it with out happiness, so I kinda don't want to think about things I would've done differently... but it's always good to learn from the past, so I guess I'll give it a shot...

Maybe I would've bought a new dress instead of a used one. But I was so happy with my dress despite it not being a 'first edition' so to speak, and I felt so beautiful, so I think it's ok.

Maybe gone more formal with everything. We were casual and it was so fun that way, but I see some girls planning these lavish affairs and I wonder if that would've been fun too.

I would've moved my mom's friends to her table instead of sticking them with my work friends. I feel awful about that.

I wouldn't have yelled at my friend Amy because I was upset the music was too loud at one point. I'm so so sensitive to music and was really upset when the DJ kept making it louder I was taking it personally like it was an affront to me that it got louder! It was so silly. People were having fun, and my dad (who is the one with the hearing aids and the reason i wanted it quiet in the first place) didn't think it was too loud.

I wish we had been in the table pictures with our guests. But that would've taken us away from the party for quite some time, I suppose. I'm just glad we got a lot of table shots like I'd wanted.

I still look back so fondly on the day, none of these things really mattered.

There are little things, but overall I am pretty happy. I keep writing about the little things and I think its time to stop dwelling on them because overall the day was truly incredible.

I would not change 1 thing about our wedding!!! It was the most AMAZING day ever. Everything was perfect and DH and I both were able to enjoy ourselves I can't wait for our unedited video so I can relive it again and again

Same here!! we ate ALOT, we danced, we thanked everyone, we drank. It was so much fun and perfect!!!!!

Me too!!!!!!!!! I barely ate that day and I had them pack up my meal cause I just couldnt eat it. I am so glad I did that because the next day the food was soooooo good!!!

i would of gotten a second photographer to photograph DH getting ready
i would have at the video person at the beach for our meeting spot
i would have done my hair a little differently
i would have stopped the photographer from taking more pics and gone to the whole cocktail hour,
i would of actually ate food during the day, i had some mashed potatoes from the mashed potato bar and i had a crabcake ...i missed out on a LOT of good stuff!
i would have waited to pick my bridal party to the very end

1. I wish I had photographer to take pics of Dh getting ready

2. I wish a I did a guestbook instead of signin picture DH friends took most of the space the rest of friends of family didn't have space to sign

3. I wish I had more pics with my bridal party

4. I wished I did a memorial candle for my uncle


Other then that everything was Fabulous

I wouldn't change anything. I had so much fun and thought the day went perfectly! Maybe I would have tried the appetizer and at least gone over to see the food at CH. I definitely ate my whole dinner and some cake and pastries, but at first I guess I was too excited to eat!
