Lets spice up this board!!!!!!!!

DH and I didn't live together before we got married. I would always tell him... Babe.. I'm going to clean the house in my Betsy Johnson Dresses and cute heels. And also that once a month we would have theme night lol where I would cook an ethnic dish and dress up in a sexy costume to go with the theme. Well.... I had all intentions of doing those things but they haven't happened yet lol!
I think its just by the time I get home to cook its so late and any creativity has already been su cked out of me from work.
But I'm going to try to do this one night this month!

So girls... what do you do around the house to make things a little more fun/special or just to be silly?

right now we are pretty boring, but i think im gonna try the dressing up in heels while cleaning thing! lol hopefully i will get distracted and wont actually have to finish cleaning! lol!!

We take a shower every night together ... and weekends are in the morning...

Heyy...dh has to shower when he gets home...he's dirty

Me cooking is the funny part....I have never cooked...and so far......


1. I tried to make pasta....forgot I was making it.....the noodles turned into soup noodles (they got thick)....and DH cooked.


2. I burned my arm on the toaster...yes the toaster making an english muffin.


3. I got whats commonly known as 'Hunan Hands' b/c I was helping DH cut peppers and while he was on the phone I didn't know you weren't supposed to touch pepper seeds so for 3 hours I had BURNING hands.


4. I was helping DH cut sweet potatos on a mandoline and SLICED the top of my finger.


So it might not be special or fun but DH EVERYtime I have a mishap and says

'I didn't marry you b/c you were domestic...lol'

Well lets see we have been married almost three months and a month and a half of it I have been sick with this stomach problem... so nothing. I will let you know when I am healthy and dropped some of this illness weight.

Well we have been fighting w/our limo company(a long story I will eventually post about) & trying to find a job - so things have been a bit tough - but we have been wokring on our costumes plus our Halloween party that gave ideas for 'the bedroom'

DH speaks pretty fluent German & I san speak w/ a pretty good English or Russian accent - so once in a while I will toss on 'the accent' so he knows 'its a GO' and he will start speaking German to me - (I have no idea what he says) but once he starts talking German in his deep low whispery voice...Im a gonner!

Also since DH works for State Police I always like to pretend I got pulled over for a violation & see what I can do to get myself out of a ticket from him...hehe

Fun question! I'm not very good in heels and costumes aren't my thing (although I do like my nighties!) so truthfully there isn't too much spice..we just enjoy each other whenever we can find the time to be honest1

I will tell you this funny story though...

I had my period 2 weeks ago and have been a little sick since last week making 'us time' non existent. So i had decided enough was enough...I have a freakin cold not the flu so it was time. I told DH this and he said he was up for it as long as we didn't kiss. He didnt want to get sick and us not be able to participate in our favorite 'hobby' for another week. So, I took it as a challenge. Let me tell you...not a good idea lol. Things started off very rocky to the point that we both had the thought 'Hmmm let's get up, walk away and pretend this didn't happen...' but luckily it all ended well. (very well!)

God, DH and I are so boring compared to all of this! We've been doing a lot of talking lately about the possibility of dressing up. On Halloween DH mentioned something about me trying to find my old girl scout uniform. Needless to say next time I'm at my parents' I will tear the house up looking for that.

Yeah we aren't having anything spicy. I had surgery in Sept to remove a polyp and am having another surgery on monday to remove a tumor so there has been a lot to deal with.......DH has been great and very supportive. I will just have to make up for it once the medical issues are over.....and at that point it will be baby making time!

I had intentions of wearing lingerie every single night (I got a TON from my shower), greeting DH at the door with a drink and a night of seduction to follow, but none of that has happened since we've been married! I started a different job and have been so tired when I get home from work. I hardly have time to cook / clean, much less organize an evening of romantic activity.

DH hasn't even looked at my bpics since I gave them to him! Maybe I'll put the bpics album in his car one morning and put a stickie note that says 'tonight' on it? I don't know, I'm reaching here!

We used to give each other massages allllll the time but now we're both so lazy, we only want to be the recipient.
