limo quote...what do you girls think?

Last night FH and I startes shopping around for limos. The quote we got for a Friday wedding in April 2011 for a 20 passanger Hummer with gratuity was 1075 for four hours. However, if we leave a deposit before the weekend is over, then the price will be 795. Honestly, I hate when companies pressure you to make a decision quickly by lowering the price. Initially, they told us it would be 795 if we left a deposit on the spot, to which I said no. Five minutes after we left, they call my FH and said they would honor the 795 until the end of the weekend!!! I hate playing these games. Anyway we have Camelot on Monday, but what do you girls think of the 1075 quote?

I would honestly wait until you meet with Camelot. A ton of girls on here seemed to have gotten great deals from them and they are apparantly great to work with.

I would be put off by a company that would put that kind of pressure on you to book with them.

I dunno, that sounds high for 4 hours... but I never booked a Hummer... I wouldn't book that price... I'd wait to see what Joe says and even if Joe can't help (which I doubt) you cna always go back to them and book that price... or find someone else cheaper. That's your worst case scenario, I guess.

We're getting a 30 passenger party bus for four hours for little more than that from Camelot, I'd wait until you meet with him.

Honestly thats a really good deal, just make sure it dosent say anything like they can switch the vechile last minute, you wont get a lower price at camelot, i booked with them and i like joe but were paying a lot more than 795 and a few hundred more than 1075 also...

Wow... I actually think that's a really good price if they give it to you for $795. I booked a 20 passenger escalade and am paying a little less than $1000 for 5 hours - and I called about 20 different places!

Look around. Go to the bridal expos. We got a couple of really good quotes. A place in flushing was 1200 for the rolls royce limo for the bride and groom, and two 10 passengers limos and a free ride home from the reception for 5 hours.

i think thats a good price.... we are getting a lincoln navigator (much smaller than the hummer) for 700 from camelot and thats for 3 hrs!

id take the 795 for the hummer for 4 hrs!

I would wait till mon and when they give you a price have either u or ur fh say the price that the other place gave you and see if they will beat it. Good luck Im going to start that search after the holidays.
