Date twin!! I have very curly hair and honestly there's no way I'm wearing it down lol I know how my hair acts in the summer and I don't want to be a mess by the time we take pictures. Plus my church isn't air conditioned so that's another worry of mine. If you think your hair is manageable then definitely do it. Only you know how your hair acts in the humidity. Plus, I'm sure a good amount of hairspray could work well too! lol

I got married at the end of June and also have thick curly hair..check my pics. my hair stayed beautifully.

I'm a similiar situation. I have pretty thick hair..its not curly but its wavy and gets frizzy. I'm thinking of just having my hair person use alot of spray to keep it in place.

Spray the &^%$ out of it and it will be fine. Bring extra spray with you and reapply after the church.

I was in my friends wedding in sept 08 and it was a ver humid day. I had my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down and by the time we had pics taken it looked like I had dreadlocks! It was so frizzy! For my own wedding I wore it all up and it stayed perfect all day!

i think if i was getting married any later into summer that I would have to put it all up to keep me cool and i know my hair would get frizzy but thats how my hair is!

my cousin hair was a hott mess by the church ( No A/C) and her pics were HORRIBLE....
