Re: IPHONE and FACEBOOK

If I understand you correctly you are referring to the fact that FB does not have push notification. Which means that it's not -in the background- continually checking for new stuff. Are you seeing the FB updates when you open up the app?

Apps I love:
Shazam
Simplify Music 2 ($5.99 basically lets you listen to your whole iTunes library w/o have it loaded on your phone!)
Word Wrap (extremely addicting word scramble game)
Pandora
Textfree Lite (completely free texting)
and the of course there's eBay, Amazon

Re: IPHONE and FACEBOOK

I guess im just use to FB on my blackberry. Whenever something was posted to me, the FB app directly would notfiy me not my email.

idk if that makes sense but....what is the 'Textfree Lite (completely free texting)' app mean?

sorry this is all still new to me!

Re: IPHONE and FACEBOOK

oops sorry!
Ok. You know how AT&T makes you pay for texting? You either pay $5 for up to 200 txt msg per month or you pay per text. Well, Text Free Lite is an app you can DL that is a free app. It allows you to create a 'email address' that friends can text to. It's typically [email protected]. It's completely free but the catch is it is a little glitchy and slow and you have a max of 15 text (text going in and out both count as 1 each) per day. SO if you're a light texter like me it's perfect. IF you text more you might want to fork over the $5.

Go to your App Store on your phone and just search for it.

But I do know what you mean, I wish FB had push notification as well. Hopefully it's in the works for the next update?
