Make-up Trial Question
I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I did a search and couldn't find anything.Are you supposed to tip when you have a make-up trial?

I did because they came to my house--drove about 40 miles. I gave them a 20% tip

youre *supposed* to but i dont think its absolutely necessary... i would if you're going to book them and they spend a lot of time with you

I honestly didn't b/c they are self employed. I mean, I will tip on the wedding day (unless they show up an hour late or something). For the trial, I just figured that if they needed more $$, they can just charge me more for a trial. But like I said, I will tip on the wedding day.

It's not necessary for trials if they own their own businesses. I did tip on the day of though for mine because I was happy with the makeup and service

I tipped $20 for a $50 trial...but I knew I hiring her for the wedding before I went there.
