Going to weddings after you've had your own...

Anyone else feel totally diff attending weddings now after you've had your own? We went to one last night and there were moments we looked at the b&g and knew EXACTLY how they were feeling and just wished we were back in their position! I keep telling them... remember as much as you can, it flies by... totally enjoy it... Nothing will beat this day... etc etc... And I kept looking at DH and just feeling the love all over again... Is that weird? Can anyone here relate?

I haven't gone to one yet but I have 2 this summer! One of them I am the MOH for so I'm excited to get hair and makeup done again.

I know that when we were planning it was fun to go to weddings because I kept envisioning it being our day. Now I can see I'll be reminiscing.

yes it was very hard for me. my BIL got married a month and a half after us, and it was soo hard going from the center of attention and everything being about us, to going to someone elses wedding that i wasnt even part of! it makes me sad and wish i can get married again! lol

totally know what you mean - it felt SO different. . one so nice to be there as a married couple! and brought back all those great feelings but also a little sadness that we didnt get to do it again. . then I had to go one on my own. . and it STUNK!

Havent been to one yet but sooooooooooo looking forward to TWOTY!!!! Than my cousin is getting married on my brithday (may 29th) of 2010 - so Im very excited for that wedding too!

I went to a wedding 1 month after mine and i kept talking to DH about remember this; remember that.....he was like calm down our wedding was only a month ago
