Re: Wedding dates!
yayyy that's sooooo exciting (and such a relief) to find a hall that you love!!! I'd say go with the date that is most convenient for you and FH. We ended up changing our month in order to get the hall that we wanted and I'm really excited about it! What hall are you looking at?

Re: Wedding dates!
congrats on settling on a RH..but im confused... why is July / August a problem? I can understand May for your FH.. but if you want June, July, Aug! Go for it!! its just a month... the wedding will be memorable no matter what month you choose... there was a review on here for a wedding in January... GORGEOUS... the month doesnt make the wedding, the people into do...
dont rule out other months because its your big day!! and everyone has to work around your schedule, not theirs
send a STD a year in advance, it will all work out !
Good luck chica!

Re: Wedding dates!
Congrats on finding your hall...but do not stress about the date!! its more important that you are happy with your date then trying to accommodate everyone else...people will have to change there plans for YOUR big day!

I totally agree - also on the family vacation thing, if it's your wedding they will put the trip on hold for next year. Look into a holiday weekend - where you can do a Sunday and people are off Monday. Proms or anything like that won't mess that plan up. When it comes to family I understand it being hard but this is a ONCE in a lifetime sorta thing, vacations can wait.

Re: Wedding dates!
It's so nice to find the place you love!!As for your date, we actually picked our date specifically to be away from most holidays, birthdays and other celebrations so it would be JUST ours. SO August sounds great, what's wrong with that?
PS, where does FH go to law school?

Re: Wedding dates!
hmm im not sure i understand your dilemma....finals usually end the middle of may...which leaves the last 2 weeks of may...proms are usually the end of june, which leave the first few weeks...same thing with graduation i think there is a fri, sat or sunday in there somewhere that will work!
Im getting Married

Re: Wedding dates!
congrats on picking an RH.as for the date, the only people who's opinions & schedule should matter are you & FH. send your STDs out a year in advance & those who want to be at your wedding will, no matter what.

LOL, I know, the quoting is confusing sometimes when it's quotes within a quote and your own post comes out italicized.
