NWR: Rough day ahead: UPDATE

Leaving at 1045 to take Fh to have surgery on his hamstring today. I know its not life threatening, but I still worry my face off about him. I hate seeing him in pain!!
4-6 months till he is back to work

But, since he is in FDNY he is still getting his salary, we are just losing out on his personal training salary...so it could be worse!! I just want FH to be back on his feet and active because I know it kills him not to be able to walk around and workout and stuff. Poor guy

UPDATE

Thanks so much ladies for all the well wishes... just got home from the hospital 10 hours later

It was one of the hardest days of my life not gonna lie!! I didnt realize how hard it would be to see him in so much pain

I was a wreck!! FMIL was amazing through the whole thing- she let me visit him in recovery instead of her and then told me how much she knows he loves me...sooo sweet. When FH just got out of surgery he was soo dopey and kept trying to kiss me! I was like aww even when doped up he loves me! thats a good sign, right girls?? haha

I get to take him home tomorrow- and im just hoping he will be back on his feet in a few months... he isnt supposed to really even try to walk for 5-6 weeks

AGAIN thanks for wishing him well... i really LOVE LIW im not even kidding. I cant wait to meet everyone in January!

I'm sorry to hear that & I am sending

to FH for a fast & speedy recovery. My FH is FDNY also so I know how lucky theya re w/their jobs but also the wear & tear it puts on their bodies!!!

haha It brought light to the situation... even when he saw me talking to the doctor he kept trying to wave at me and the nurse had to tell him to stop because of the IV!

Thanks again everyone for the continuing well wishes. I have had such a stressful day!! My stomach is still in knots and I wont be happy till he is back home with me!!

I guess all I can do now is just distract myself and sit on LI W for the rest of the night! Dont be suprised if you see me commenting on EVERY post!
