Let's play a fun game

Let's post all the ridiculous outrageous quotes we've gotten! WITHOUT naming the vendors, duh!!!!

Our first flower appt. was with one of our RH preferred vendors and they quotes us close to $9000 for the same exact thing we are getting for $3350 now!

My outrageous quote was for flowers too! I was quoted $5750 at one florist and the one I booked gave me the exact same counts & flowers for $1800!!

photogroahy.... $6K for 1/3 as much as we are getting for $5. To get what we wanted with them we would have been at like $10K

A photog that quoted us AFTER we left the office, via e-mail, saying that their minimum charge for a wedding in the spring/summer was $5K for a basic package.

We're getting the same for $2K.

Some of the girls at the G2G heard mine and FH's theory on that.

$2.00 additional per person if we wanted OVAL tables.
so.. that would come out to between $300 and $500 extra for going into closet B as opposed to closet A (but they offered to throw in a suckling pig).

$7,000 for flowers by the preferred vendor of my RH. I went to another florist and was quoted $3,300 for the same flowers and more in quantity. NUTS!

Limos: we got quoted $3,000 for 5 hours for 4 limos. The vendor we booked gave us 3 limos for 5 hours and he is coming back at the end of the night to pick FH and I up to bring us to our hotel; all for $950 plus tip!

RH: $180 pp with all the goodies taken out and on a Friday. ::Sigh:: I still love that place though!

$7000 before taxes for photography....for 2 shooters all day long and a high-res CD of our images. THATS IT!

RH: $175 per person for the basic package
PLUS $150 extra for every 50 people for valet

Nothing even special about the RH. And the quote was for a saturday afternoon.

$10k for photography and video, but including no extras.
$180 pp at a RH and the minimum was 250. So basically major dough.

For me it was spending $1200 on invites, I end up getting what we want for $520 ( pocketfolds)we just have to put then together ourselves!
