May brides

Have you booked any makeup trials yet??? and booked with them?? I still dont have a makeup girl/guy!! Im 6 months away! Am i cutting it short?

Yes I had a trial and booked. You still have time. I booked because I loved the way my makeup came out and she was booking quick.

I'm a june bride, crashing your thread... i've already had 2 makeup trials and booked the second person - Christy from Christy Ann Cosmetics, I can't say enough good things about her

My wedding is early May. I think it depends on where you are planning to book...I have someone in mind that I had contacted and was told to inquire about everything in January. I know a lot of brides on here use particular vendors that may book quicker but I am not worried.

i find it ridiculous that i actually booked my hair & makeup before any other majpr vendor and still have not booked most of them , lol. i had a trial to ensure that i would def want to book my lady, but i will prob do another trial right before the wedding and use my actual headpiece. I dont think you are cutting it short but I would def book someone asap

Yup, I've had mine booked since August. I had originally contacted someone in June, but she was already booked!

I have had two trials - the most recent being 2 weeks ago - think I am going with that person, but want to have another trial or two before I decide.

i dont think ur behind, but at the same time i'd say make tht a priority to look for now!!

my makeup girl is the one who did my epics makeup...so that was a trial of sorts...i will do another one w/her for 'wedding' makeup but i know im using her

i wouldnt freak but i wouldnt let it go any longer either

My wedding planner made sure I booked hair & makeup ASAP b/c people are booking up fast! You want to book with vendors who have had previous wedding makeup experience (i.e. airbrushing if you want that).

I would make it a top priority to get it done soon!!
