Vegetable Lasagna- grilled vegatable lasagna with plum tomato sauce

Wild Mushroom Torte- six varieties of wild mushrooms layered over le roule cheese served in a deep dish whole wheat crust

Grilled Vegetables - marinated and grilled summer squash, zucchini, holland peppers, and asparagus topped with pomodoro sauce served with warm polenta



I have to choose a veg. option for dinner entree... please help

ETA; i was wondering why everyone was saying vegan and realized that my being lazy and abbreviating vegetarian was confusing..........sorry girls! but thanks for the input!

im not a vegetarian....but im choosing Vegetable Lasagna for my entree!! if that helps at all!

i think i would choose the third option only bc i know there are a few vegetarians in my office who also don't eat dairy and the other 2 options have cheese

i would go with the lasagna. my best friend is a vegetarian and she doesnt even like mushrooms, and she hates when the ' vegetarian dish' is just a bunch of mixed veggies or pasta. so i think the lasagna would be a good choice

Personally, I would pick the mushroom option...but some people dont like mushroom. So I would go with the lasagna. Do you have any vegan people at the wedding? The lasagna wouldnt be vegan...but depending on how the third option is cooked...that might not be vegan either. Sorry..I'm babbling ; )

I want the mushrooms!! A lot of people do not like mushrooms. I know someone else had posted too that except for the grilled vegetables they others had dairy in it. I guess it would depend on whether your guests were vegetarians or vegans.

i would go with the third!! polenta sounds delish! you should ask how it is prepared tho...make sure its a vegan choice

I replied on BHB, but here's what I wrote...

Do you have any vegans coming? If so, they can't have the lasagna or the torte so the grilled veggies are your only option. I'd say either the lasagna or the grilled veggies b/c not eveyone eats mushrooms...I know I don't

My sis has been a vegan for 10 years so my RH is making a special dish for her...not necessarily the one on the menu...they're just going to make one dish for her. Maybe yours could do the same if you have vegans.

I am a vegetarian and I think I would like the Lasagna the best. The Veggie dish is similar to what vegetarians get offered everywhere- grilled veggies on top of pasta or something. The veg lesagna will feel like more of a meal to them- and like the other girls said, a lot of people dont like mushrooms.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I hate most meat and love my veggies. Although all of those options sound yummy, I would be most likely to choose the lasagna!
