My wedding is 9-6 and my RSVP date is 7-26.
I'll be sending them out mid- end of June

I am FREAKING OUT!! My wedding is 8/30 and we haven't ordered the invitations. We're going to look tonight and the lady said we would be limited since we're cutting it close!!

An online vendor said they were only accepting orders for Sept. and later!! I'm shooting for sending them out mid June and asking them back by July 30. Hopefully the printer will have a fast turnaround time.

sent out two months before wedding. gave them 1 month to reply. not very long but we were running late on invites!
BTW - it didn't matter. from my experience, people either RSVP right away, or they totally flake and are late no matter what. not too much in between!!

Hey, relax!! you are going to be fine. Some online vendors take a lot longer. and obviously, custom made takes longer too. However, if you can choose some out of a book, many printers can get them done in less than 2 weeks!! really. No problem, you won't even have to rush them. Ask the girls on this site, and they will give you names, you can totally do it with plenty of time to spare. Don't worry!!!

WOW.. you see, I have alot of schleps so I'm sending mine out the end of this month! They are already stuffed.. just waiting to stamp them and wax seal them..

my RSVP date is 7/1 and my wedding date is 8/9

we gave about 5 weeks. I think that is plenty.

You dont want to send them out too early...because they will forget about them.

You are going to think I am nuts, but my RSVP was 12/15 and my wedding was 12/29. I pretty much knew who would and wouldn't be coming with some wild cards mixed in. I wanted to give people longer since it was right after the holidays and many didn't know their plans until right before. Figured that way I wouldn't have to deal with cancellations. Worked out great for me. Plus my hall did not make you pre-pay for every single person. A week before we paid for amount expected minus 5%. And the balance the day of (which they never bothered to collect

We are sending them out 8 weeks before the wedding b/c we have so many out of towners. My wedding date is Sept 6 and I am sending them out on July 8. I'd say I'm giving them around 5 weeks to RSVP?

I am planning on sending them out mid-June. I have a July 28th response date for our August 30 wedding. We have a lot of out of town people, and the wedding is over Labor Day weekend, so we wanted to give lots of time.
