Re: For Grooms?

If they had one, I don't think my fh would visit the site. I think he hears enough about our wedding from me and his mother.

How did your FHs ask their BM/GM to be in wedding party? (formerly: For Grooms?)

My FH want to hear about different ways he can ask his BM & GM to be in the wedding party...and while this site could be helpful for brides, he can't find anything for grooms. Personally I think he should just *ask* but he's silly sometimes...

So...can anyone share how their FH asked the men in his life to be in the WP?

Re: How did your FHs ask their BM/GM to be in wedding party? (formerly: For Grooms?)

Paperstyle.com has groomsmen cards that are really adorable. Or maybe he could take them all out for a beer and ask them all at once. My FH looked at me like I was insane when I mentioned the cards, but I used them for my BM's and MOH and they LOVED them. There is a website that has them cheaper, let me see if I can find it...

Here it is...
Frills and Yummies
I would have ordered mine from there if I had known it existed - much cheaper and more choices.

Thanks CutieLipps...I actually ordered the Matron of Honor card from paperstyle.com for my sister - she loved it.

He'll probably wind up asking them individually - I guess I didn't understand why it was such 'pressure' or a big deal - I had no problem asking the women I wanted.

Re: How did your FHs ask their BM/GM to be in wedding party? (formerly: For Grooms?)

My fiance did just 'ask'...it was kind of assumed by 2 of them that they'd be in it though. The third lives in FL and wasn't expecting it, so he just called him. It was a little awkward b/c he has a friend that he's been friends with since he was in high school, but their relationship hasn't been so good over the past few years, so he didn't ask him to be in the wedding. That was a little weird...
