I just booked the Oyster Bay Arboretum for pics.

Westbury Gardens were booked.

Oyster Bay is really pretty! Anyone ever go here?

You mean Planting Fields? We live within walking distance from there. It is such a gorgeous place. We got there a lot just to have a picnic!! I hope you have beautiful weather!!

Is that Planting Fields Arboretum/Coe Hall? If so, I think that's where I'm going to take my pics, too. Is there any place to take them if it rains there?

I am from Oyster Bay and I have to say, you picked a beautiful location!

I have had numerous friends take their wedding photos there and they came out magnificent!

Yes Planting Fields.

I needed a place in case of rain & someplace with gorgeous grounds & flowers.

They have a place in case it rains to take pics in there.

I hope I have nice weather too

Jen, it looks like you sat/sun brides are getting the nice weather and us friday brides are getting showers and wind!! I hope the rain comes early on Thursday and gives us ALL SUNSHINE!!

But if we don't I gave up caring, we can't control it anyway. Plus the weather chages everyday I watch it.

JEnn - You just did it today? How much was it? What did you have to do? My wedding is Sunday and I am getting nervous about the rain too. And my hall is only 5 mins from Planting Fields. I was hoping I could just show up if I wanted to!! :)

Edited to say that I just called planting fields and they said that they DO NOT HAVE indoor locations but I should call back WEd and speak to Joyce. What did they tell you Jenn?

They dont have inside locations but have something like this (Thanks for the pic littlcat).

It was $120, call her & ask her to mail you the permit asap. I called her Thursday for the permit & got it today.

I had my pictires taken there and they came out great. Make sure you use the arches around Coe Hall, it is quite elegant.

That's where we are going to take pics! Just watch your dress it gets wrecked walking throughout there! It is BEAUTIFUL there though!
