stress over Bridal shop alterations...vent

i just need to get this out.... someone asked about not so good bridal shops recently and i just need to say that The Wedding Center in Commack is HORRIBLE!!!!! i feel like an anxiety attack is a few minutes away!
one of my BM went for her fitting and they forgot to order her extra fabric. She did not know this till her fitting on 4/28. They said they would order it, and it should be in by 5/10...not bad 2 weeks. well wrong. after 3 calls to the contact at the shop, i called the company for the dresses.
long story short.....the material isn't expected till tuesday 5/20. the wedding is on 5/24. my friend is freaking, i'm freaking and all the owner said was, i hope you are all sitting down for this, i remember you (on the phone w/ my friend) you are the loud mouth from the other day, blah blah blah. well if you can't come in when my girls are here for the alterations, then you will just have to go someplace else. He wasn't even listening to her complaint. now we have to pray and cross our fingers that the material will be in on tuesday and they can do the alterations by thursday and that it's perfect the first time. UUUUGGGHHHH!!! now i'm stressing.
sorry to ramble on, but i just needed this. I hope noone else has this problem with them. I know their prices are cheaper, but it doesn't pay to sacrifice good service!

I would like to add that my friend is getting married on May 24th and she is having terrible problems at Davids Bridal over alterations. She said it has been terrible dealing with them.

OMG, I am so sorry that you are going through this! It should not be something that you need to worry about now.

I cannot believe the manner in which you & your BM were spoken to, that is completely abominable!
