Follow up on First Vent....(Sister not coming to shower)

When I got home from work yesterday there was a gift waiting for me....the jogging stroller. I knew that was from my sister...and yes, there was a note in there from her.

When I phoned her to Thank her...she didn't give anything away about the shower. She just said that she wanted to get head start on the gifts, because she knew that I registered.

I felt better after speaking with her, because I can tell that she doesn't mean to do me any harm. This who she is. I'll express my disappointment, if any, after the shower. My mom had a great point the other day and that was 'you have a lot of friends that love you that will be there' and, you know, I know that's true....

Anyway, just wanted to share....

Sorry it had to happen this way and your sister won't be there, but your mom is right, it will be a great day!!

if you are still upset about it, I would definately talk ti her after the shower. You will still have lots of people there for you and your day will still be amazing!

No matter what your sister is your sister and I am sure she loves you, even if she doesn't always put your needs ahead of hers. I am glad that you feel better though.
