MY WONDERFUL & PERFECT MAY 17, 2003 WEDDING REVIEW-VERY LONG- I AM MRS JENNBABY!!!!!!YAY!!!

My wedding review is a TOTALLY honest one, the 10's aren't a lie! (ETA-Proofs on another thread.)
I had the most amazing day of my life!
I was sooo lucky, the weather turned out to be absolutely prefect! Not hot or not cold & blue sunny skies!
We really sat back at dinner at our reception & really looked around & enjoyed ourselves alone for a bit.
I also am so lucky to have chosen what I feel are incredible vendors. I was treated like a Queen (no pun intended, but I truly was).

I slept only 2 hours the night before & was running on nothing but adrenaline!

Jacquelyn Nicole 10
Jacquelyn was at my mom's house earlier than she said she'd be. I got to my moms at 7:15 and she was already all set up & ready to go. Jacquelyn did me & my mom & 5 BM's, I got the airbrush, and just like my trial last year, I loved my makeup. It lasted untill the next day (I slept with it) and my skin was flawless. All my BM's were so happy with the way they looked, my mom said she felt like a movie star! She even put a little makeup on my flowergirl. JN is incredible!

Jennifer also was at my mom's house extra early and ready & all set up. Jen also did all 5 of us, and everone absolutely loved their hair (including me) and our hair did not move all day long. I highly reccomend her!

Jack & Rose Florist 10.
My flowers arrived at 11 am & all I can say is WOW!!!!!

Jack & Rose's work was truly gorgeous. I loved all my flowers & Jack loves what he does & put's his all into his work & it definately showed. I had so many people tell me they never saw such pretty flowers before. Also Jack's prices were unbeatable. The only flowers that didn't stand up too well was the dad's bouts (stephanotis) but the stephanotis in my bo-k stayed incredible.
Jack is not easy to deal with though. JMO.

Ultimate Class Limousine 10+
I can not even begin to express how unbelievably happy we were with the service & treatment we got from this company. I was so picky with my limo vendor because I worked in the business for 10 yrs & knew what I wanted & Ultimate Class had it. UC went above & beyond my expectations of them. I have never seen a company (not even where I used to work) treat their clients so well!

The cars came 20 minutes early. We had an all orginal, stunning, 1958, Rolls Royce and 2 white 10 psgr limos. The limos have a 5th door so the BP could get in & out easily & it was really useful for everyone! The 2 white limos were 2003 cars & TEN DAYS old!!

The drivers of the girl's limo was Janice & all I can say is I am writing a letter to Matt at UC about her. I have never seen such a caring, hard working woman (driver) in my life. She fixed my BM dress when a button holding her halter came lose, she carried shout wipes so in cocktail hour when my BM spilled food on her dress, it was gone in a second. She & my BM helped me go to the ladies room at the Oyster Bay planting fields (took pics there) and rushed to the receivng line before me & handed us all breath mints. Janice put the studs on my dads shirt (tux), she was always near me to fix my dress before I walked down the aisle, after church for pics etc. Janice is truly one of a kind. I can go on & on about her & Ultimate Class. I loved her so much I invited her to stay for cocktail hour & the wedding & she did! I love her!! The guys driver was also super helpful & polite.

They sent my HUSBAND and I a limousine to pick us up at the Coral House at the end of the night. Again the car was brand new (black car) and early with a different wonderful driver.
I can not stress to you enough how important transportation was to us, especially using a specialty car like a Rolls, I saw some dirty, not well maintained ones at some limo places we looked at. Definately go look at them (and request Janice) !

Patken Photographer 10 (Steve)

Steve arrived at my mom's early. Steve is so nice, caring & fun to work with. Steve knows what he wants & we all had a great time with him taking photos. Although I haven't seen my proofs yet, I can't imagine them being less than amazing. Steve recomended we go take pics at the OYSTER BAY Planting Fields (Steve took his own wedding pics there when he was married) and all I can say is that place is like a piece of Heaven on Earth. You need a permit & $120 to go. The grounds, flowers, old home on the grounds & the arches will make for incredible photos. I plan on using Steve agian in the future for my childrens photos oneday.

ETA: I am still awaiting my album but I loved all my proofs, I am very satisfied!

Wild Rose Video 10

What more can I say about Marie & Bill, other than INCREDIBLE to work with. Marie became like a friend to me in the past year. Bill came to my mom's early & filmed me getting ready. I cried when he first came into the house because their work is so beautiful, and I couldn't believe this was THE day where I got my turn to be with them! Mark went to Johns to film him & the guys getting ready, then they both filmed my ceremony. It's amazing how unobstrusive they are, even my guests complimented on this throught the day. When Bill filmed me getting ready, I never even knew he was right next to me while I was getting my makeup done! Bill put a little of everything I saw on their website into my video & I did the spin! I so look foward to seeing our video...I can't wait, but as they say good things come to those who wait!
No wonder why he's an award winner, his creativity & ideas on what to do yesterday blew us away!
EDITED TO SAY: I got my video and we are AMAZED!!! I, or whoever watches it, never saw a video like this ever!!!! I got the Retrospect added on as well. I am so glad I did!

The Coral House 10
John & I were treated so wonderfully from the moment we booked the place, right untill the end of last night. The service was great, the food was delicious (my guests complimented us on it all night) & the Maitre'D (sp?) Mike treated us great, whenever I wanted a drink, my slippers, etc, he had them in the blink of an eye. I am very happy I chose the Coral House. I had the Americana room, and the view of the lake out the window & my room looked was loved by everyone. My cake came out really pretty & was SO good (my cake topper slid off the top of it though lol). There was nothing I can say that was bad about the place (if my guests thought differently I don't know about it )

My DJ (my friend of 10 yrs)
He worked hard & I thought he was good but could have played some newer music, however he kept getting tons or requests & wanted to make everyone happy.my wedding consisted of mostly an older crowd, so he was trying to accomodate them more . All in all, I was happy with him.

The Huntington Hilton 9
I won a wedding night stay at the umberto's GTG for a stay here. When we got there, there was chilled champagne waiting for us & we had a delicious complimetary breakfast. I was very happy here!

We had a SUITE, livingroom, bedroom etc.
WOW, the room was great, in more ways than one


In and out Travel 10

Dave & Ellen were so amazing to work with, they got us the BEST price, they beat everyone's prices, and when I had to come home from HM early, they got me $ refunded (and I did not have travel insurance!) They get you the BEST for your dollar too!

Off to Aruba tomorrow am for 13 days!

Jenn I am so thrilled to hear how completely perfect your day was. I looked forward to hearing about your day almost as much as I had looked forward to my own. You looked beautiful in the pics that Shamma posted and you and John both look so happy. And no rain. I spent a lot of yesterday thinking about you and was so happy to see the sun come out. I am glad that you were happy with Planting Fields. It is a lovely place to take pics and I have no doubt that you will be happy with them .
