OK, DC brides, what is the final verdict for Saturday? GTG or not??

I need to know if we're on so I can plan my weekend. I would LOVE to see/meet everyone, but is anyone going besides Anniegrl and myself?? If not, maybe we should reschedule unless, Ann, you want to just grab lunch anyway (and, if so, maybe we could pick a different time or location)...I still very much want to see your ring!! I'm just trying to plan out the weekend, as we have a friend coming into town, and possibly FH's brother (the best man), not to mention tons of wedding stuff to do. Please let me know!! Valarie said she can't make it, but Caren can. So it's the 3 of us so far. I'll check my e-mail and see if anybody else replied.

I just checked my e-mail; Becky can't make it either, so Neva is the only one I'm waiting to hear from.

Do you live in the D.C. area? We're having a mini-GTG this Saturday in Old Town Alexandria if you'd like to come. We're going to have lunch at a restaurant called The Wharf. Sorry, no prizes though .

Wow, that's short notice! Sorry you can't make it Neva. Maybe those of us who work in/near D.C. can meet up one night after work for drinks...


Alison & Caren - I guess it's just the three of us! That's fine by me. Alison, this might work out better for you since you have a gajillion wedding things to do! Caren and I won't keep you long . Hey, there's a bridal salon in Old Town. Would you happen to know where it is? Maybe I can stop in there and check out gowns after lunch....

Sorry i won't be able to join you, but i will be thinking of you!!
and yes, I believe it is called Hannelores, in Old Town. They can be a bit snooty, just ignore that because they have an excellent selection!!
Also My Glass Slipper is there (for shoes!) and they have a fab selection!! Take care and have a good one! Nexxt time

Talk about short notice. I had to ask my DH if the girl is pregnant when he told me about the wedding He said she is not pregnant. The groom just got back from the war so I think maybe he came back and realized what he has and does not want to wait.
